Type J - Rearrange to make two new words

With this type of question you are given two words.
You are required make two new words by taking a letter from the first word, ensuring that a valid word remains and placing it into the letters of the
second word to form a completely new word.

The letters of both words must remain in the same order but you can place the
removed letter in any position of the second word.

Lets look at an example:

STOOP      FLAT

Look at both words and see if anything obvious springs to mind - quite often it does.

If not, take a logical step by step approach.

The first step is to remove each letter of the first word and see if a valid word remains.

STOOP    STOOP    STOOP    STOOP    STOOP

In this case it was not until we removed the third letter, O, that a valid word remained, STOP.

Now place this letter, O, into the second word at every position.

OFLAT     FOLAT     FLOAT     FLAOT     FLATO

In this case it was not until we placed the letter, O, between the 'L' and the 'A' that a valid
new word appeared, FLOAT.

The two new words are, 'STOP' and 'FLOAT'
